Dirk H. Wagner managed this project  during his appointment with IMC Montan Consulting GmbH. A feasibility study for a hard rock open pit in the North of Turkey has been prepared. Dirk was, beside the project management, also responsible for the economic evaluation of the project (cash flow model, sensitivity analysis) .

Dirk H. Wagner was at Zhairem GOK (a manganese-, baryte- and iron ore producer) appointed as assistant of the (internationally staffed) board of directors. He acted as an intermediator between the board and the local management. He was involved in all matters of the operation. He took care of the due diligence process when the Swiss owner company decided to sell the operation

Dirk H. Wagner co-ordinated the prpearation of a proposal on a full longwall equipment and conveyor belt for an Indian mining contractor, who won the tender for operation of the KTK 7/8 underground coal mine of SCCL. During the tender preparation Dirk worked as well on commercial as on technical issues.
